The Australian British Chamber of Commerce is delighted to invite you to its full-day Energy Transition and Investment Summit in Perth.
‘What is a Smooth Transition?’ and ‘What is a Fair Transition?’
We are pleased to confirm The Hon Reece Whitby MLA, Minister for Energy, the Environment and Climate Change, will open the day, and honoured that Premier Roger Cook will join us during the afternoon. Deputy Director General Industry, Science, Innovation Linda Dawson will also give a keynote. Other speakers from across the energy transition sector can be found in our programme outline here.
The Summit will showcase Kwinana and the huge plans for growth in the South-West region to discuss regional transition and the greening of industrial hubs. The future of the region around Kwinana is one of the most exciting growth opportunities in the country for energy, manufacturing, defence and construction.
We will tackle the social license for transmission and renewables infrastructure, explore supply chains, including indigenous procurement opportunity, and hear the latest on the energy market and grid security, and introduce new investors in renewables. Expect the latest on Hydrogen, on and offshore wind, solar, batteries, hydro and the power of gas and renewables to drive transition, and where funders are putting their dollars.
