Grace Grace was first elected to State Parliament in October 2007 and is currently the member for McConnel.
Grace was appointed Minister for Employment and Industrial Relations, Minister for Racing and Minister for Multicultural Affairs in December 2015 and successfully implemented a series of important legislative reforms including the Racing Integrity Act, the Multicultural Recognition Act and the Industrial Relations Act 2016.
Following the 2017 state election, Grace was appointed Minister for Education and Minister for Industrial Relations – both areas she is passionate about. Grace understands the importance of education and her tireless advocacy delivered a new high school in Fortitude Valley in 2020. The first built in the inner city for 50 years.
Grace was appointed Minister for Education, Minister for Industrial Relations and Minister for Racing
following the 2020 state election.
Grace was sworn is as Minister for State Development and Infrastructure and Minister for Industrial Relations and Minister for Racing in December 2023.
During her career, Grace has had extensive director board experience with organisations including Sunsuper, Energex and Southbank Corporation.
She has worked with local community organisations in her electorate including P&Cs, the New Farm Neighbourhood Centre, Teneriffe Progress Association, Queensland Council for LGBTI Health, Fortitude Valley Chamber of Commerce and many others.
Grace has lived her whole life in her electorate where she and her husband Michael raised their child.

Paul Martyn is the Director-General of the Department of Energy and Climate. With nearly three decades in economic policy and reform, Paul is leading Queensland’s transformation to clean, reliable and more affordable renewable energy; and heading up the state’s climate action plan to reduce emissions. He is also responsible for government procurement supporting local jobs and businesses.Prior to DEC, Paul was the Director-General of the Department of Energy and Public Works and Chief Executive Officer of Trade and Investment Queensland, where he spearheaded investment attraction in hydrogen and renewable energy. Paul has led strategies to encourage growth and investment in key Queensland sectors, including energy, resources, agriculture, manufacturing, tourism, defence industries, and building.In the Governor-General’s 2022 COVID-19 Honours List, Paul was awarded a Public Service Medal for his leadership of Queensland’s COVID-19 Response and Recovery Taskforce during the pandemic.

Kellie is an experienced energy and sustainability professional with over 25 years’ experience managing complex private and public sector projects in Australasia. Based in Brisbane, she is committed to helping clients across a range of industries respond to the challenges of the energy transition.
She is focused on just transition to a low-carbon economy, supporting government and industry to unlock future value and opportunities in the growing green economy. Her strong background in strategy, planning and approvals and delivery of large infrastructure initiatives, for the public and private sector places her at the forefront of the energy sector’s transformation.
Nationally, Kellie has supported the Australian Government with energy strategy advisory services, contributing to significant initiatives such as the National Hydrogen Strategy Refresh and National Hydrogen Infrastructure Assessment. She has also led the Decarbonisation of the Great Barrier Reef Island Community Pilot Project for the Queensland Department of Environment and Science to develop community-led resilience projects for First Nations and local Island residents. Kellie is currently supporting the NSW Government to develop regional industrial decarbonisation plans for the Hunter and Illawarra. These projects are Australian firsts where Arup has brought our global expertise and track record for the benefit of the local market.

Senior Director with over 15 years’ experience as a consulting economist covering energy and various other sectors.
· James is a Senior Director at Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners and leads Quinbrook’s Digital Strategies. Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners is a ‘value add’ investment manager with a specialist focus on low carbon and renewable energy supply, storage, grid stability and related assets and businesses.
· James led Quinbrook’s acquisition of Habitat Energy (an AI focused battery optimisation platform) in 2021 and is a senior member of the Quinbrook investment team focusing on wind, solar, storage, green data centres, green hydrogen and decentralised investment strategies such as virtual power plants. He is responsible for the firm’s digital strategies including machine learning based algorithmic trading, hourly tracing and matching of renewable power and approaches to advanced weather prediction. James represents Quinbrook on the board of Sun Cable Australia and is overseeing development of the domestic leg of the project. James is also a lead on Quinbrook’s hybrid BESS plus green data centre Supernode project in Brendale, Queensland.
· Prior to joining Quinbrook, James was a Director at Frontier Economics. James led the firm’s modelling group from 2007 to 2015 before opening the firm’s first office in Asia (sited in Singapore) in 2016. During his time at Frontier, James advised governments, regulators and market participants on all aspects of gas, electricity and green markets. His work included market design, price regulation, commercial transactions and merger clearances in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Saudi Arabia amongst other countries.
· James was an inaugural member of the Who’s Who Energy Expert list from 2018.
