Vandita Pant was appointed Chief Financial Officer, effective 1 March 2024. Based in Melbourne, Vandita has global accountabilities for capital allocation, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Financial Planning, Group Reporting, Risk and Audit team to support the Company’s strategic goals and value creation.Prior to her current role, Vandita was the Chief Commercial Officer of BHP, a position she held from July 2019.
Vandita’s career with BHP started in 2016, when she took on the role of Group Treasurer and Head of Europe, overseeing BHP’s structural financial risk, liquidity investment portfolio and corporate finance.
She has over 30 years of experience in the global corporate world, having worked in a variety of executive roles in banking across India, Singapore, Japan and the United Kingdom prior to joining BHP.
Vandita holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree from Delhi University and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow.
