He has more than 15 years of experience working in the technology space implementing and advocating for analytics, data science and artificial intelligence solutions.
He is an accomplished public speaker and advocate for uptake of AI and data science solutions in new sectors and works closely with customers to understand their business drivers and articulate the vision for technology solutions.
Alex has a proven track record of team building and continuous improvement initiatives within technology and consulting organisations. Working hard to increase the uptake, education, training and awareness of data science and artificial intelligence in Western Australia, he is a passionate advocate of collaborations between the education sector, government, and industry to encourage the next generation of data scientists.

Brett worked across the national security community for over 18 years. During his time in Government, Brett gained insights into senior level decision-making through postings to Afghanistan the United States and Papua New Guinea, as well as the provision of policy advice on the 2020 Cyber Security Strategy.
While at CyberCX Brett has managed large and complex projects and provided high-level strategic advice to senior executives. Key engagements have included supporting the roll-out of security of critical infrastructure reform for the Department of Home Affairs, administering the Hosting Certification Framework for the Digital Transformation Agency and leading the development of the Victorian Government’s Cyber Security Strategy.
As CyberCX's industry lead for resources and utilities, Brett has overseen engagements with large-scale oil and gas, mining, and energy and water suppliers. His oversight experience extends across incident response planning and implementation, operational technology security, the provision of managed security services, enterprise cyber security risk management, exercises and training, and cyber security strategy development.

Cecily is a human-centred design practitioner and is passionate about using design thinking to unlock the creative potential of stakeholders and unlikely innovators. She led the CIVICUS team that facilitated the co-design and establishment of 7 regional innovation hubs around the world, launching the Innovation for Change network in 2015. Working with Innovation for Change allowed Cecily to hone her innovation skills and to witness firsthand the global demand for cyber security awareness and training.
Prior to joining CIVICUS, Cecily began her career at the Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and also worked at DCAF - Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance.
Cecily holds a Masters in International Affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) and a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia.

Ross is an experienced data protection, cybersecurity and information governance lawyer. His experience spans data protection and privacy, cybersecurity governance and incident management, artificial intelligence, critical infrastructure and operational resilience, eCommerce (including consumer protection, antitrust and trade relations), digital media, distributed ledger technology, as well as technology transactions.
Ross advises clients across all sectors on matters relating to privacy governance, compliance, operations and breaches, cybersecurity governance and incident management, critical infrastructure security reforms, compliance obligations and foreign investment, crypto-currency regulation and reporting, artificial intelligence governance and related corporate and compliance matters.
Ross is highly sought after for his pragmatic and commercial approach, particularly on matters of high complexity such as complicated human technology systems and cross-border operations. Ross has advised clients across the full end to end spectrum of cyber, data and security issues, from legal and compliance advisory, critical infrastructure risk management and operational resilience programs, complex transactions and due diligence, through to full-service incident management and subsequent regulatory engagement and remediation.
