John Mullen

John Mullen was appointed to the Qantas Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair Elect in April 2024. He will assume Chairmanship in September 2024.
He is a Member of the Safety, Health, Environment and Security Committee.
Mr Mullen is currently Chairman of Brambles Ltd. and Chairman of Treasury Wine Estates.
Previously, Mr Mullen was Chairman of Telstra Group Ltd and Chairman of Toll Holdings.
John has extensive experience in international transportation and logistics, with more than two decades in senior positions with some of the world’s largest transport and infrastructure companies. From 2011 to 2016 John was Chief Executive Officer of Asciano, Australia’s largest ports and rail operator and prior to this John spent 15 years with DHL Express, serving as the global Chief Executive Officer from 2005 to 2009.
Prior to DHL, John spent 10 years with the TNT Group with four years as the Chief Executive Officer of TNT Express Worldwide based in the Netherlands.
Former appointments also include the US National Foreign Trade Council in Washington (2008-2010), and Member of the UNICEF Task Force on Workplace Gender Discrimination and Harassment (2018-2019).

Frank Calabria was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the Company in October 2016. Frank is a member of the Company’s Health, Safety and Environment Committee.
Frank first joined Origin as Chief Financial Officer in November 2001 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer Energy Markets in March 2009. In that latter role, Frank was responsible for the integrated business within Australia including retailing and trading of natural gas, electricity and LPG, power generation and the solar and emerging business.
Frank is a Director of the Australian Energy Council and Australian Energy Producers. He is a former Chairman of Australian Energy Council and former Director of the Australian Energy Market Operator.
Prior to joining Origin, Frank held roles with Pioneer International Ltd, Hanson plc and Hutchison Telecommunications.
Frank has a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University and a Master of Business Administration (Executive) from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
Frank is also a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.

Ticky Fullerton joined the Chamber as Chief Executive in March 2023 to lead the team as we look forward to the huge opportunity for our partners: the Free Trade Agreement, developments with AUKUS on the defence and security front and the exciting business generation around energy transition.
Ticky is a highly skilled and motivated thought leader with board and governance experience, an extensive network across governments, the top floor of business and the media.
She has a long-standing reputation as a highly credible voice in business. She is a trusted advisor to government, working closely with both Australian and UK government networks.
Most recently, Ticky was Business Editor at Large at The Australian newspaper. She is an award-winning journalist and a household name in Australian business circles with over twenty years at News Corp and the ABC.
She was Business Editor of Sky News in Australia and presented Business Weekend, the channel’s flagship business program for the ABC and was an investigative journalist with Four Corners.
Prior to journalism, Ticky spent ten years with investment bank CS First Boston in Britain and Australia.
She is a past director of the Australian British Chamber of Commerce and of the CRC for Irrigation Futures.
Ticky has a law degree from Oxford where she was also Treasurer of the Oxford Union.
