Make travelling to the UK easier with 'Registered Traveller'

Dear Travellers

I am writing to advise you of a new service being offered by UK Border Force called Registered Traveller which gives faster and more convenient entry to the UK for nationals of the USA, Australia, Canada, Japan, and New Zealand. We think this scheme may be of benefit to your staff who travel frequently.

The benefits of Registered Traveller are:
· Use of e-Passport gates and EU lanes
· No need to complete landing card
· No credibility interview

Registered Traveller is available at all main ports entering the UK including:
· All major London airports (including Heathrow, Gatwick, London City and Stansted)
· Birmingham
· Manchester
· Edinburgh
· Glasgow
· Eurostar rail terminals (Paris, Brussels & Lille).

Registered Traveller is available to those who:
Are a national of Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand or the USA
Are 18 years old or over
Hold a valid visa (except Tier 5 (Sporting & Creative Concessions), EEA family permits, discretionary leave and leave outside the rules)
or have visited four times in the previous 52 weeks (in one of the following categories: Business, General, Academic, In Transit, Entertainment or Sports visitor, Parents with a child in a UK school or Medical visitor)
The service costs £70 per application which includes a £20 non-refundable administration fee and a £50 membership fee which lasts 12 months.

The application process is simple and only takes 10 minutes. It simply requires current passport details and can be done online at www.gov.uk/registered-traveller
