B20 Meetings this week in Sydney

This week Australia plays host to over 400 senior business leaders from around the world and a significant number of our own local leaders. At the event in Sydney leaders will hear from the Prime Minister, Rupert Murdoch plus the leaders of the four (five) key areas of Financing Growth; Human Capital; Investment and infrastructure; and Trade. The fifth area of anti-corruption has grown into a fifth pillar. The pillars are being led by four of Australia's key business leaders:- Financing Growth - Led by Mike Smith OBE, CEO of Chamber Sponsor ANZ Bank Human Capital - Led by Steve Sargent, CEO GE Mining Infrastructure and Investment - Led by David Thodey, CEO of Telstra Trade - Led by Andrew McKenzie, CEO of Chamber Sponsor BHP Billiton The anti-corruption working group is being led by former Global Chair of Chamber Member KPMG Michael Andrew. The event kick's off this Wednesday evening and includes two full days of activities culminating in the formal delivery of the B20 recommendations to the G20 Presidency.

I am delighted to be representing the Chamber at the events and will be tweeting and blogging as possible from the floor of the conference. Please feel free to post your questions about the B20 process and the key outcomes here. A link to the recommendations will be on this site once they have been released.
